They feature a clean, sophisticated shape reminiscent of the tour-proven P7CB irons, but with a slightly larger profile to inspire confidence at address. The P8CB irons are made with a forging process that uses a 2,000-ton press over five stages. This process helps create a dense internal structure within the soft S25C carbon steel, which contributes to a soft feel at impact. A thicker area behind the face is also integrated to enhance this solid sensation. The head shape combines a longer blade length (80mm) with a classic tour look. A lightweight ceramic core is positioned in the center of the head, and the saved weight is redistributed to the perimeter. This design choice helps increase stability and minimize twisting on shots not hit directly on the center of the face. To help the club move smoothly through various lies, the P8CB irons are engineered with a "Speed Sole." This design includes a leading edge with a gentle curve, a middle sole with optimized bounce, and a trailing edge that reduces ground contact. The clubface is precision machine-milled to help maintain consistent spin for a stable ball flight.
